Venezia’s Pizzeria simplifies gluten-free ordering with Zion & Zion’s 5-persona UX prototyping

Zion & Zion worked with Venezia’s Pizzeria, a fast-growing family-owned pizza chain, to develop a new website that could better support customers looking for menus, deals, and gluten-free options. The challenge was to uncover hidden user needs and simplify the site experience for different customer types.

Zion & Zion used its Web Experience Prototyping approach, combining role playing and human-to-human interaction to test real scenarios with five personas. This revealed that users wanted a single “deals” destination, filters for deals by menu item, and a more detailed gluten-free information page. The result was a clearer information architecture and a more useful website experience for Venezia’s Pizzeria, with insights that traditional UX research had not uncovered.
