Case Study: Sheela Foam achieves major cost savings and streamlined collaboration with Zimbra

A Zimbra Case Study

Preview of the Sheela Foam Case Study

Sheela Foam Turns to Zimbra's Advanced Collaboration Platform

Sheela Foam, founded in 1972, is India’s largest mattress manufacturer (brands: Sleepwell in India, Joyce in Australia) with 11 manufacturing units in India, five in Australia, and a wide distributor network. Facing a growing, distributed workforce and rising Microsoft Exchange license costs, IT leadership sought to consolidate multiple email systems into a single, fast, scalable, cost‑effective and cross‑platform collaboration solution.

Sheela Foam deployed Zimbra, migrating 1,100 mailboxes in under three days and using tiered editions to match power users and standard users, extending mailboxes to dealers and distributors. Zimbra’s native migration tools, built‑in collaboration (file sharing, scheduling, IM, mobile web) and simple mailbox licensing cut licensing costs to roughly one‑tenth of the Exchange spend, reduced total cost of ownership, and delivered faster, more flexible messaging and management.
