International e-Commerce Firm, Jago AG, Moves from an External Email Provider to On-Premises Email with Zimbra

Jago AG is a fast-growing European e‑commerce company with nearly 500 employees across five offices and a turnover of €93 million. The company was dissatisfied with an external email provider and wanted greater stability, reliability, privacy and internal control, so it decided to move email hosting in‑house.

Working with Zimbra partner Ertel and Friends, Jago deployed Zimbra Collaboration Server on‑premises. The rollout was smooth and delivered a stable, reliable email platform with easier user management, a modern UI and improved calendar integration; 600+ users now use Zimbra along with OpenPGP and Archive Zimlets for encryption and archiving. Jago is now exploring BigBlueButton integration and Zimbra Talk to further reduce costs and replace Skype.
