Franco Vago Group Deploys Zimbra for Sync on Multiple Devices and Advanced Collaboration Features

Franco Vago Group, a Milan-based freight forwarder with decades of global logistics experience, needed an email platform that let employees view and sync messages across multiple devices and share calendars, inboxes and contacts securely. Their existing Postfix setup lacked real-time collaboration and the security/integration features (S/MIME, two‑factor, Active Directory) required for a fast-moving transport business.

The company deployed Zimbra Collaboration 8.8, gaining multi-device email sync, shared calendars/contacts, stronger authentication and AD integration, plus improved backup and deduplication. The move boosted productivity, met open‑source and security requirements, and is being rolled out to the remaining users while Zimbra Chat is being tested.
