Bioluz Upgrades to Zimbra Network Edition for Increased Security, Privacy, Functionality and World-Class Support

Bioluz, an independent pharmaceutical laboratory in St‑Jean‑de‑Luz, France, needed a more secure, private and easy‑to‑manage email platform that supported mobile synchronization and calendar sharing with Microsoft Outlook. After using Zimbra Open Source since 2011 and experiencing poor support and deliverability issues with a prior hosted provider, the company sought an on‑premises, enterprise‑grade solution.

Bioluz upgraded to Zimbra Network Edition and implemented it internally with minimal disruption. The new platform delivered stronger security and privacy, mobile email/calendar sync, Outlook calendar compatibility, file sharing and enterprise support; users reported improved collaboration and productivity, and the IT team found administration straightforward. Bioluz now plans to extend functionality with Zimlets and future features like chat.
