AREU, the Emergency Regional Agency for the Lombardy Region of Italy, faced the challenge of coordinating its 1000+ widely dispersed staff members. Zimbra provided an open-source email solution that gave every staff member a secure mailbox. The implementation included using Zimbra Briefcase for safe document sharing and integrating other services via Zimlets.
