Dufry, the world’s leading travel retailer operating 112 World Duty Free stores across 43 UK locations, needed a more agile, automated way to improve inventory accuracy and real-time visibility. To meet this challenge the retailer upgraded and deployed the next‑generation ZetesAthena solution across its UK operations to replace manual counting and provide centralized, real‑time stock data.

ZetesAthena delivered a cloud‑based, integrated stock‑auditing system that lets in‑store devices upload count data directly to Dufry’s ERP, automating previously manual steps and reducing device bottlenecks. The implementation increased administrative visibility, sped up inventory counts and labour productivity, and cut the number of rescheduled stock audits and unnecessary duty payments caused by counting errors — giving Dufry real‑time control of stock across its 112 stores.
