The Entertainer, one of the UK’s largest toy retailers with 89 high‑street stores, needed to improve accuracy and visibility of its annual physical stock counts across a growing store network. To address this challenge The Entertainer selected ZetesAthena’s cloud-based In‑Store Management solution to streamline and standardize stock auditing across its UK locations.

ZetesAthena deployed a mobile, cloud solution (powered by the MCL Mobility Platform) so third‑party counters can complete counts on handheld devices in up to three stores per day over a three‑month cycle, with immediate results integrated into The Entertainer’s ERP. The ZetesAthena implementation eliminated stock “blind zones,” provided real‑time centralized visibility across 89 stores, reduced ongoing management overhead and created a scalable platform to extend other in‑store processes.
