Realtime visibility of overnight deliveries at AMP

AMP, part of the French Lagardère group and a leading distributor of magazines and newspapers in Belgium, needed a better way to manage its overnight delivery operations and reverse logistics. To replace paper-based processes, AMP turned to ZetesAthena and its ZetesMedea and ZetesChronos solutions to gain real-time visibility across deliveries, collections, and distribution center activities.

ZetesAthena implemented an integrated Proof of Delivery and Proof of Collection system that connected with AMP’s SAP environment and packing equipment, while equipping drivers with PDAs using GPS, GPRS, and cameras. The solution improved transparency, delivery accuracy, and speed under time pressure, enabled live route monitoring every one to two minutes, and gave AMP end-to-end visibility across its supply chain, supporting pickups, deliveries, and returns more efficiently.
