Henderson Group, the Northern Ireland-based owner of the SPAR, EUROSPAR, VIVO and VIVOXTRA franchises, wanted to create shelf-to-shelf edge traceability across its supply chain while improving accuracy, service, and operational control. Working with Zetes, the company began by replacing manual picking in its ambient warehouse and extending technology across its distribution operations.

Zetes implemented voice picking, the Medea warehouse management system, and electronic proof of delivery to provide real-time visibility from goods receipt through to final delivery. The results included a 50% reduction in shrinkage, a 15% rise in productivity, and £175,000 in asset losses saved, alongside faster training, fewer picking errors, and improved customer service levels.
