Case Study: Cassis doubles picking productivity and scales to 130 stores with ZetesAthena (ZetesMedea Voice)

A ZetesAthena Case Study

Preview of the Cassis Case Study

Clothing retailer Cassis successfully manages seasonal peaks and twice as many shops, thanks to ZetesMedea Voice

Cassis, a Belgian clothing retailer with 130 shops across Belgium, Luxembourg, France and the Netherlands, faced growing logistical complexity as it doubled its store network and e‑commerce activity. Orders varied by size, colour, folded vs. hanging and piece vs. bulk, and seasonal peaks strained the existing RF scanning system. To meet higher volumes and more diverse order profiles, Cassis adopted ZetesAthena’s ZetesMedea Voice solution.

ZetesAthena implemented ZetesMedea Voice with speaker‑independent MCL Voice technology and handheld WT4190 terminals, guiding operators hands‑and‑eyes‑free and enabling multi‑client picking, optimized routes and mixed voice/scanning workflows. The result: the same team of 11 now picks over 20,000 items daily for 130 outlets, error rates have fallen, deployment time for temporary staff is drastically reduced, warehouse throughput and occupancy effectively doubled, and total cost of ownership decreased—positioning Cassis for further expansion.
