Zetes upgrades Selecta's mobility solution

Selecta, the international vending specialist, needed to upgrade the mobile service applications used by its operators and engineers across the Netherlands and Belgium. The company wanted a solution that was easy to manage centrally, supported role-based access, worked across different hardware and operating systems, and allowed fast development of its own apps. Selecta chose Zetes and the MCL™ Mobility Platform to meet these needs.

Zetes implemented a cloud-based mobility solution using the MCL™ Mobility Platform and Zebra TC55 mobile computers, enabling Selecta to centrally manage hardware, apps, and users while sending data to the back office in real time. The new setup improved efficiency and work quality, and the flexible deployment helped Selecta move from real-time to asynchronous communication when needed. Selecta also reported lower license costs per user and expects the engineers’ new mobility setup to pay back the investment within the first year.
