Case Study: Simoldes boosts just-in-time productivity with ZetesMedea

A Zetes Case Study

Preview of the Simoldes Case Study

Simoldes’ just-in-time (JIT) productivity with ZetesMedea

Simoldes, a leading manufacturer of plastic automotive components, needed a way to handle highly personalized car-door production with tight just-in-time timelines while keeping stock levels low. To meet these demands, the company turned to Zetes and its ZetesMedea solution with pick-to-light (PTL) technology to better align warehouse operations with production needs.

Zetes implemented ZetesMedea to integrate directly with Simoldes’ ERP system, sending pick tasks from production schedules and guiding operators to the exact parts needed for each assembly order. The result was a more streamlined just-in-time and just-in-sequence process, with productivity increased by more than 40%, inventory levels and buffer stock reduced, warehouse space used more efficiently, and car production lead time cut by more than 90% on the assembly line.
