Serialisation ensures Alcorta full traceability

Alcorta Forging Group, a leading automotive components manufacturer, needed full control and unit-level traceability across its production process, from raw material arrival through to finished component shipment, including operations performed by external partners. To meet this challenge, Alcorta worked with Zetes and adopted a serialization and traceability solution based on ZetesAtlas packaging identification and the ZetesOlympus Track & Trace platform.

Zetes implemented a solution that manages unique identification and serialization of items, boxes, and pallets, while also handling data aggregation and storing all related events in a central track-and-trace repository. As a result, Alcorta Forging Group gained total visibility over manufacturing, can respond instantly to queries and incidents, and can manage reverse logistics more effectively, with the company reporting that the results have been satisfactory.
