Realtime visibility of overnight deliveries at AMP

AMP, part of the Lagardère group and a leading distributor of magazines and newspapers in Belgium, needed better real-time visibility across its overnight delivery and returns operations. To replace paper-based processes and improve transparency under tight time pressure, AMP worked with Zetes using ZetesMedea and ZetesChronos to support acceptance, cross-docking, and delivery tracking.

Zetes implemented an integrated Proof of Delivery and Proof of Collection solution with barcode scanning, GPS-enabled PDAs, and full SAP and packing-machine integration. The system gave AMP end-to-end visibility over deliveries, returns, and reverse logistics, enabled incident reporting and route monitoring every one to two minutes, and improved delivery correctness and speed. AMP said the solution has become essential to its operations and supports efficient pickups, deliveries, and its Kariboo! parcel service.
