Morrisons increases efficiency and data accuracy with Zetes’ voice solution

Morrisons, the UK’s 4th largest supermarket chain, needed to improve picking accuracy, operational efficiency, and reporting across its distribution centres, while moving away from a paper-based warehouse picking process. Zetes provided its voice solution, ZetesMedea Voice (formerly 3iV Crystal), to voice enable thousands of warehouse operators.

Zetes completed a successful three-month pilot at Morrisons’ Corby Freezer Distribution Centre before rolling out the solution to support ambient, fresh, and freezer environments. The implementation delivered immediate improvements in picking accuracy and efficiency, better real-time management information, enhanced reporting for legacy and Oracle WMS, and future flexibility through Zetes’ open systems approach, supported by on-site hardware and software maintenance via Zetes Care.
