Mobilcom-Debitel Logistik GmbH, the logistics service provider for the Freenet Group, was facing incorrect deliveries caused by error-prone manual quality control and inconsistent parcel label codings across different carriers. With up to 9,000 parcels shipped per day, even a 0.01% error rate was unacceptable, prompting the company to seek help from Zetes and its ZetesMedea logistics execution solution.

Zetes implemented ZetesMedea with ImageID reading stations integrated with SAP to automatically compare the HU number and carrier tracking label on each package line.
