To address this challenge, Aviapartner partnered with Zetes and adopted an intelligent mobile scanning solution with backend integration to automate its counting and localisation processes.

Zetes implemented a one-stop Auto-ID solution including mobile scanners, label printers, ERP integration, secure wireless transmission, and staff training, fully automating baggage and freight counting and improving verification from warehouse to aircraft. The result was better speed, precision, customer service, and the rapid tracing of unaccompanied baggage; the solution was successful enough to be rolled out across every airport where Aviapartner operates in Europe, and it also earned an IWT technology innovation award.
