A Zetes Case Study

Preview of the Halfords Case Study

Halfords - Customer Case Study

Halfords, the Dutch and Belgian retail chain for bicycle and car accessories, needed a better way to supply its 150 stores efficiently while cutting errors and increasing productivity. The company worked with Zetes and chose Medea Logistics Execution with a voice-controlled order-picking system to replace paper-based picking and improve warehouse operations.

Zetes implemented voice terminals, headsets, a new wireless network, and integration with Halfords’ Axapta ERP system to create a paperless, real-time picking process. Within four months, productivity rose by 10% to 15% and delivery errors fell by 75%, dropping the error rate from 1% to 0.22%; Halfords also found only 16 mistakes across all stores and was able to eliminate store-level delivery checks much sooner than expected.
