Fastway Couriers saves up to €2 million per year with Zetes’ fully managed mobility solution

Fastway Ireland, part of the Fastway Couriers network, needed to improve device uptime for its couriers and remove the burden of mobile device management from its IT team. Its handheld terminals were previously managed in-house, and when devices failed they had to be sent to the UK for repair, causing delays of 2 to 4 weeks and forcing drivers to fall back on paper run sheets.

Zetes implemented a fully managed mobility solution for Fastway Ireland, including managed services, a helpdesk, maintenance, staging, reconfiguration, dispatch, swap-out support, and a new pool of Honeywell CN51 mobile terminals. Zetes completed the rollout in just over a month, helped eliminate administrative work for IT, and enabled couriers to gain up to 1 hour per day, delivering nearly €2 million in annual savings.
