Efficiency & ergonomics at L’Oréal warehouse get a boost

L’Oréal, the global beauty products leader, wanted to improve cumbersome and physically demanding goods receiving and dispatch processes at its Nijvel distribution centre. To address the challenge, Zetes implemented a warehouse solution integrated with SAP, using industrial IND terminals to replace inefficient manual workflows and improve ergonomics.

Zetes equipped the receiving area with height-adjustable parcel trolleys, terminals, label printers, and wireless barcode scanners, and installed height-adjustable terminal supports in dispatch to streamline conveyor operations. The result was simpler, faster, and more user-friendly warehouse operations, with fewer errors, improved workflow quality, and time savings; the solution was successful enough to be rolled out to other L’Oréal sites in France and Portugal.
