DPD Ireland optimises delivery processes with Proof of Delivery solution from Zetes

DPD Ireland, a leading parcel delivery company in Ireland and part of GeoPost, needed to keep pace with rapid growth and improve its delivery processes and customer experience. To support its expanding business and its “Predict” service, DPD Ireland selected Zetes to provide an electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) solution for its delivery drivers.

Zetes implemented its ePOD solution on Honeywell 99EX mobile devices for 800 drivers, with features including route management and optimisation, secure delivery using PIN codes, real-time delivery updates, mobile phone functionality, and back-office monitoring with GPS consoles. The project, valued at over EUR 1.3 million, is expected to deliver immediate efficiency gains, improved work practices, and a better delivery experience for DPD Ireland’s customers.
