A Zetes Case Study

Preview of the Henderson Group Case Study

Create shelf to shelf edge traceability across the supply chain at Henderson Group

Henderson Group, the family-owned operator behind the SPAR, EUROSPAR, VIVO and VIVOXTRA franchises in Northern Ireland, needed to improve supply chain visibility, reduce manual picking errors, and create true shelf-to-shelf edge traceability across its warehouse-to-store operations. Working with Zetes, it set out to modernize processes from goods receipt through picking to final delivery, replacing manual methods with voice-enabled logistics tools and better stock control.

Zetes implemented voice picking, the Medea warehouse management system, and electronic proof of delivery (ePOD) to deliver real-time control and traceability across Henderson Group’s supply chain. The results included a 50% reduction in shrinkage, £175,000 in asset losses saved, a 15% productivity increase, and improved customer service levels, while picking errors fell sharply and training time for new staff was cut dramatically.
