Coca-Cola saves 6 minutes per truck during loading

Coca-Cola’s production plant in Dongen, Netherlands, needed to adapt its warehouse loading process after increasing automation. The company, working with Zetes, faced the challenge of loading multiple pallet types faster while maintaining strict safety standards and accurate shipment handling.

Zetes designed and implemented a forklift-based scanning system, along with advice on forklift attachment design, to automatically read pallet labels and integrate data into Coca-Cola’s SAP system. The solution improved loading accuracy from 98% to 99.9%, cut 6 minutes per truck, and made the process safer by eliminating the need for drivers to manually scan a third pallet.
