Biomnis Ireland, the country’s leading independent provider of medical laboratory testing services, needed to replace a manual paper-based docket system for tracking pathology sample deliveries. To improve real-time traceability, proof of delivery, and compliance across its nationwide transport network, Biomnis turned to Zetes and its ZetesChronos proof of delivery solution, internally branded as “BioTrak.”

Zetes implemented a fully automated barcode-based tracking process with mobile scanning, electronic signatures, online status updates, and custom transfer-on/transfer-off traceability for sample handovers. The result was faster and more agile collection and delivery, improved invoicing efficiency, stronger compliance with UN dangerous goods regulations, better temperature-controlled transport, and easier use for staff and customers, with real-time monitoring of delivery KPIs.
