Online Retailing Company, a long-established online retailer offering a wide range of private-label and name-brand products, faced the challenge of driving more recurring purchases and building customer loyalty across a diverse product line with many SKUs and varying replenishment schedules. Zeta Global was engaged to design a replenishment trigger campaign and multi-touch cadence strategy to determine the optimal timing for reminder messages.

Zeta Global implemented a daily data sync and a multi-touch sequence (Touch One sent 10 days before expected replenishment; Touch Two sent 11 days after the replenishment date and included a free-shipping offer) to promote reorders. The program—launched in August 2016—delivered measurable gains: both touches achieved a 29% increase in open rates; Touch One saw +4% total clicks, +4% unique clicks, +11% click-to-open and 0.05% unsubscribe, while Touch Two saw +6% total clicks, +4% unique clicks, +14% click-to-open and 0.07% unsubscribe, driving improved engagement and repeat purchase behavior.
