Leading Cereal and Snack Company, a global cereal and snack food producer with a Rewards loyalty program, faced the challenge of re-engaging millions of inactive loyalty members and email subscribers from the past 1–3 years while avoiding deliverability issues and ISP reputation risks. Zeta Global tested a 5 million–record sample, using its 350 million–record Actions Database and proprietary Active Engagement Flag to identify 1.6 million reactivation candidates and recommended staged sends (starting under 250,000/week and ramping over six weeks) to protect deliverability. Over a five-month campaign the client uncovered more than 100,000 active addresses to re-engage, grew the Rewards database more cost-effectively than new acquisition (which would have been roughly twice the expense), and gained clearer segmentation and deployment insights for ongoing campaigns.
