Spectrum Global Payment Solutions, recently acquired by TransNetwork, needed to rebuild an incomplete, poorly optimized BC/DR environment to support its global payment platform. The company faced personnel changes, limited staff, and the challenge of migrating operations from Houston to a new, distant Las Vegas data center while maintaining operational stability.

Spectrum used Zerto (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) — deploying Zerto Virtual Manager, Virtual Protection Groups, and cross-training existing personnel — to migrate roughly 67 servers and about 200 VMs to the Las Vegas site. The move cut overhead (requiring one fewer full-time employee than expected), enabled rapid 300 GB VM migrations in 16–20 minutes, restored 24/7 uptime for critical applications, and positioned the company to extend multisite replication into AWS while upgrading to Zerto 10 for greater stability.
