Stonegate Farmers is a UK egg producer with large, 24/7 packing operations (including a major free-range and organic site). Their legacy, physical infrastructure and tape-based backups could not meet aggressive business continuity and disaster-recovery needs—Stonegate required near‑synchronous replication, very low RPO/RTO and protection for critical systems such as Oracle JD Edwards and Microsoft SQL Server.

Working with Meridian IT, Stonegate virtualised its environment and deployed Zerto Virtual Replication to provide seconds‑level RPOs, minute‑level RTOs, virtual protection groups, a journal for point‑in‑time recovery, and one‑click failover/testing. The solution now protects 15 VMs, delivered rapid recovery (operational within an hour during deployment), simplified DR management, reduced operational costs and increased infrastructure utilisation and ROI.
