A Zerto Case Study
A Midwest credit union with more than 70 years in the community and ten citywide locations sought to strengthen IT resilience after tornadoes threatened two of its disaster-recovery sites. Facing regional severe-weather risk and the need to ensure continuous member services, the credit union wanted a modern, diversified recovery plan to protect critical banking systems and data.
Using Zerto’s IT Resilience Platform, the team migrated VMs to Azure and AWS and implemented continuous replication of primary applications—including IHS, banking services, third‑party payment and e-signature servers, SQL, ERP and CRM—enabling recovery in Azure within minutes. The solution also delivered granular file/VM restores, simpler compliance failover testing and actionable analytics; next steps include building a new primary datacenter, converting the current site to DR, and expanding Zerto to protect an additional 150 on‑prem VMs with replication to a DR datacenter and Azure as a secondary target.
