NENS secures a breached prospect in hours with ZeroTek

NENS, a Boston-based managed service provider (MSP), was contacted by a prospect experiencing an active cyberattack. The challenge was to rapidly deploy an enterprise-grade identity and access management solution to contain the breach and secure the company's email. NENS turned to vendor ZeroTek to implement a solution using the Okta platform.

Using ZeroTek's purpose-built platform for MSPs, NENS quickly created a new Okta organization, integrated it with Microsoft 365, and provisioned users. This allowed them to secure the prospect's email with single sign-on and multifactor authentication within hours, containing the breach. The successful resolution won the prospect as a client that same day. By 2024, 75% of NENS's customers were running on Okta through ZeroTek, including very small businesses, with over 6,000 users protected and zero successful identity-based attacks reported.
