Case Study: Nokia achieves protection of 28 million followers and its brand reputation with ZeroFox

A ZeroFox Case Study

Preview of the Nokia Case Study

ZeroFox helps Nokia continue innovating by protecting millions of their followers

Nokia, the global telecommunications leader with roughly 87K employees and close to 28 million fans and followers, faced rising impersonations, deepfakes, phishing and other malicious activity that relied on time-consuming, manual monitoring. To gain a systematic, scalable defense for its brand, executives and online communities, Nokia partnered with ZeroFox and adopted ZeroFox’s AI-driven digital risk protection platform and takedown services.

ZeroFox continuously monitors Nokia’s public assets, issues real-time alerts and provides incident triage and takedown support; in 2022 ZeroFox generated 9K alerts related to the Nokia brand and investigated 1K incidents, helping remove hundreds—if not thousands—of impersonations and freeing Nokia teams from manual remediation. By using ZeroFox, Nokia improved visibility into malicious activity, strengthened executive and brand protection, and maintained safer engagement for its nearly 28 million followers.
