Samaritan’s Purse is an international relief organization that responds to disasters worldwide and needed faster, more accurate ways to collect and act on field data. Before working with Zerion Software and adopting their iFormBuilder mobile data-collection tools, the team relied on paper forms, spreadsheets, and emails, which delayed decision-making and made it hard to incorporate GIS location data or maintain a single authoritative data source.

Zerion Software implemented iFormBuilder (with the ArcGIS Connector) so field teams could capture assessments, distributions, and reports on mobile devices and feed them into Esri-enabled maps for real-time or near-real-time analysis. Using Zerion Software’s solution, Samaritan’s Purse reduced time spent on data entry, cleaning, and processing, cut inaccuracies, improved situational awareness, and accelerated responses in emergencies such as Cyclone Pam in Vanuatu, the Nepal earthquakes, and relief efforts in Cambodia and the DRC.
