A Zerion Software Case Study
Rainforest Alliance, a nonprofit that conserves biodiversity and promotes sustainable livelihoods, needed a reliable way to collect baseline and monitoring data across remote farms and countries. Faced with the limitations of paper forms—variable internet, language differences, and the risk of lost or falsified data—the organization adopted iFormBuilder from Zerion Software to support field teams in places like Mexico and to scale rollouts to Ivory Coast, China, and Indonesia.
Zerion Software’s iFormBuilder was implemented to capture georeferenced farm observations, photos, signatures, and localized surveys with built‑in GPS and conditional logic. The platform enabled real‑time checking and faster submission cycles, allowed verification that enumerators were onsite (georeferencing every sampled farm), reduced the chance of data loss or falsification, and supported remote cleaning and analysis. These improvements accelerated monitoring and evaluation, improved data quality, and helped Rainforest Alliance better target long‑term economic, social, and environmental interventions.
