Orange County Mosquito Control District turned to Zerion Software and its iFormBuilder platform to improve data collection and reporting across the county. The district needed a system that would support transparency and interdepartmental collaboration while helping collect, store, search, and report on data more efficiently. Its mission is to provide Orange County citizens with the highest possible level of protection from vectors and vector-borne illnesses.

With Zerion Software’s iFormBuilder, the district built an automated workflow that starts when a public service request comes in and continues through field collection, lab compilation, and automated reporting. The system was used by over 100 individuals and integrated with the organization’s on-premise SQL database, giving the team immediate access to field data and better sharing across departments. Prior to iFormBuilder, the district relied on multiple platforms including Excel, SQL, and ESRI, which made analysis difficult.
