A Zeplin Case Study
Feedly, the content‑aggregation app that helps users organize and read blogs, news, podcasts and YouTube channels, faced a common startup challenge: design handoffs. With a 12‑person team and one designer (Arthur Bodolec) working closely with two front‑end engineers, creating and communicating pixel‑perfect specs was time‑consuming and risked losing critical design details.
After adopting Zeplin as the final step after Sketch, Feedly reduced handoff friction with one‑click specs and interactive spacing/position info. First implementations became about 98% pixel‑accurate across desktop, Android and iOS, speeding delivery (e.g., the collection‑sharing feature), cutting iterations, and freeing the designer to focus on refining the user experience.
