Groupe P&V, a Belgian cooperative insurer with more than 1,600 employees, relied on fragmented Excel spreadsheets and email to manage testing, which led to inconsistent reporting, collaboration problems and risk of file corruption. The IT team found enterprise tools too complex and needed a simpler solution that would support agile testing, involve business users, and provide tight Jira integration and end-to-end traceability.

In December 2016 P&V implemented Zephyr Enterprise, gaining a user-friendly test-management platform that let business users run UAT and update test status directly, while linking requirements, tests and defects in Jira for clear traceability. The move standardized reporting, improved cross-team collaboration, reduced risks from Excel-based processes, and provided a scalable foundation for future DevOps and CI efforts, with responsive vendor support.
