FIPP, the global media membership association, wanted to reduce membership churn and turn its previously open-access content into a revenue source. To do this, it needed an easy-to-implement, budget-friendly paywall and registration solution for a small team, and chose Zephr’s intelligent paywall platform.
Using Zephr, FIPP set up a two-tier access model with registration and paid membership, ran A/B tests on pricing across regions, and used B2B tools to manage corporate subscriptions. The result was a stronger content monetization strategy that gated all key resources, and FIPP doubled its subscriptions within 10 days of launch, with a projected 20% increase over the next year.
