Lions Gift of Sight, a partnership between Lions Clubs and the University of Minnesota Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences, needed a more affordable, user-friendly electronic quality management system to replace a paper-based document control process. With more than 300 procedures to review annually and a need to stay compliant with EBAA and FDA requirements, the team was spending too much time chasing signatures and managing manual paperwork.

ZenQMS implemented its eQMS platform to digitize document control, training records, and approvals, giving staff and directors the ability to manage and sign documents electronically from anywhere. As a result, Lions Gift of Sight eliminated about 10 hours per week of paper processing, improved organization-wide ownership of quality, and gained a more efficient, intuitive system that supports compliance and strategic focus.
