Solid Biosciences adopts its subsidiary’s eQMS, not vice versa

Solid Biosciences, a Charlestown, MA-based life sciences company focused on gene therapy and neuromuscular and cardiac programs, needed to clean up a disorganized incumbent eQMS that was overloaded with draft documents, inactive owners, and poor optimization. After acquiring AavantiBio, Solid also reassessed whether its existing system still made sense, especially given the cost and limited functionality it offered compared with ZenQMS.

Solid Biosciences chose to adopt ZenQMS, its subsidiary’s existing eQMS, bringing in a more cost-effective and fit-for-purpose system with all modules available and compliant from the start. ZenQMS enabled a fast implementation, immediate ROI, and a smoother transition because the platform was already running well and familiar to users, while also giving Solid a scalable quality system that could grow with the company.
