Ventura launches Victoria’s first all-electric bus depot with Zenobē, supporting 27 electric buses

Ventura, Victoria's largest bus operator, needed to develop the state's first all-electric bus depot under a tight deadline as part of a government trial program. The challenge was to generate valuable operational data and learnings to help drive future electric transport decisions across Victoria. They partnered with Zenobē to meet this goal.

Zenobē designed and delivered the charging infrastructure for 27 electric buses, including installing 14 chargers and managing all electrical works. They also installed their Hekaton smart charging software to capture and share key data. As a result, Ventura now operates Victoria's first all-electric depot, avoids 1,280 tons of CO2 annually, and has gained crucial insights for the state's broader transition to zero-emission buses. Zenobē ensures the infrastructure's reliability so Ventura can focus on fleet operations.
