Beacon Mobility, a leading school transportation provider, faced the challenge of electrifying a complex school bus depot in Methuen, MA, as part of a federal grant program. The project required navigating intricate site requirements, securing additional grant funding, and ensuring the new electric vehicles and charging infrastructure would be operationally reliable. They partnered with Zenobē to utilize its charge-as-a-service offering to act as a single point of contact and manage these complexities.

Zenobē served as the single point of contact, applying its expertise in grants management to secure an additional $400,000 in funding and significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs. The vendor managed the entire depot electrification process, including site design, hardware procurement, and providing comprehensive training for drivers and mechanics. The solution delivered by Zenobē resulted in a fully operational depot supporting 35 electric buses and is projected to provide $1 million in savings for the customer.
