A Zengenti Case Study
National Museums Liverpool, the charity behind venues such as the Walker Art Gallery, the International Slavery Museum, and the Merseyside Maritime Museum, needed a better way to manage its growing web presence. Using the Zengenti Contensis CMS, the team wanted to reduce the burden on central staff, allow more people to edit content, and support a structured set of museum microsites within one corporate site.
Zengenti implemented Contensis with support for NML’s existing .NET environment, providing training, installation guidance, and ongoing professional support. The new setup gave NML shared templates, editable mini-templates, and responsive, device-aware design across sites, helping the organization deliver a stronger user experience and extend its web estate more efficiently. The case study also notes that NML serves 2.7 million visitors a year.
