Case Study: Staffordshire County Council achieves 4-star transactional status with Zengenti Contensis

One of the largest councils in England, serving a population of more than 800,000 residents

Staffordshire County Council, one of England’s largest councils serving more than 800,000 residents, needed a more effective way to deliver services across a wide and geographically diverse region. To support an ambitious overhaul of customer service processes, the council chose Zengenti’s Contensis CMS to help launch a new content platform, web development process, and suite of websites.

Zengenti implemented Contensis with reusable templates, drag-and-drop page building, and support for shared site components, media, and templates across multiple websites. The project was delivered on time and on budget in just six months, the web team quickly became self-sufficient through training, and Staffordshire.gov.uk achieved 4-star “Transactional” status in the 2012 Socitm Better Connected report, retaining it after a 2015 redesign.
