HubSpot, the marketing and website software company behind the annual INBOUND event, needed a reliable way to coordinate thousands of staff, vendors, security personnel, and union workers across a massive Boston convention center. After moving from discontinued Nextel push-to-talk phones to bulky, unreliable radios, HubSpot needed a BYOD-friendly communication tool that worked across devices and supported hands-free use in a fast-moving event environment.

HubSpot implemented ZelloWork from Zello to create a flexible push-to-talk network with channels, user roles, and bulk user import for hundreds of accounts. The system was up and running in just a few weeks and performed successfully during INBOUND, where it became the primary communication tool for events, IT, security, and local union teams. Users praised ZelloWork for its sound quality, ease of use, and history/playback features, and HubSpot continued using Zello for future INBOUND and company-sponsored events.
