The company’s aging analog and digital radio system was becoming expensive to maintain due to repairs, tower fees, antenna wiring, and equipment replacement.
Zello provided ZelloWork push-to-talk as a radio replacement, loaded on Samsung tablets and integrated with CRMP’s fleet management software and MDM tools. With over 120 tablets and dispatch computers connected across four channels, CRMP improved driver-to-dispatch communication, reduced downtime, and increased productivity; Andrew Eger said the company expects to save tens of thousands of dollars annually, with added savings from eliminating tower fees and repairs.
