City Furniture, a premier Florida furniture retailer with 16 locations and more than 1,300 employees, wanted to improve the in-store customer experience while making sales associates more efficient. As the company moved its team onto iPads and apps, it also needed to replace bulky two-way radios, wired earpieces, and separate cell phones with a more modern, flexible communication tool. ZelloWork was chosen to support this shift.

Zello helped City Furniture roll out ZelloWork across a pilot, then one showroom, and eventually 26 showrooms, transitioning more than 500 sales and management staff in a matter of weeks. The solution gave each location its own channel, with separate regional manager channels for broader communication, while running entirely on WiFi to avoid cellular data plans. With ZelloWork, City Furniture eliminated multiple devices and earpiece wires, gained real-time communication, and improved both customer experience and associate productivity.
