The University of Ottawa's Annual Campaign department faced the challenge of meeting ambitious fundraising growth goals while ensuring all contributions had a maximum impact on its mission. They required a fundraising platform suited for mass solicitation and social-media-driven campaigns, finding their previous solution, Eventbrite, was not an ideal fit.
By implementing Zeffy’s free fundraising tools, including peer-to-peer campaigns and donation forms, the university found a solution tailored to its needs. Using Zeffy for over 30 campaigns, the University of Ottawa raised more than $200,000 and saved an estimated $10,000 in platform and transaction fees, allowing more funds to directly support scholarships and university initiatives.
