Case Study: RNN Group improves student access and attendance with Zeelo

The RNN Group of colleges needed services to improve their catchment area as well as provide safe transport to students

RNN Group, which includes three colleges educating over 12,000 students a year across the Sheffield City Region and the East Midlands, needed a way to improve its catchment area while also providing safe, reliable transport for students. With pressure to support recruitment, maintain access after a campus closure, and manage transport without internal logistics burden, they turned to Zeelo’s home-to-school transport service.

Zeelo designed and launched three personalised routes serving Rotherham College and Dearne Valley College, with 20 pick-up locations, two daily travel times, and flexible exam shuttles. The result was 90% rider satisfaction, 98% on-time performance, improved attendance, and a new recruitment tool for attracting students from further afield, all while providing COVID-19 safety measures and tracking capabilities.
