Zebra Technologies VisibilityIQ™ Foresight Proves its Worth at Computacenter’s Logistics and Integration Centres Computacenter Becomes Total Solution Provider

Computacenter, a leading independent multinational IT services partner with integration and logistics centres across Europe and the USA, faced a productivity hit when its Windows Mobile handheld fleet at the Kerpen site reached end-of-life and lost OS support and automated management. The dwindling number of fully operational devices affected picking, staging and put-away processes and threatened service quality across its warehouses.

To address this, Computacenter deployed Zebra MC3300 Android mobile computers with accessories and the cloud-based Zebra VisibilityIQ Foresight (plus Zebra LifeGuard for Android) to gain continuous device analytics and management. The new devices delivered higher performance and usability—about three seconds faster per pick—while VisibilityIQ provided scan metrics, repair, battery and WLAN insights that improved device utilization, operational productivity and security; Computacenter has rolled the solution out to other sites and now confidently recommends and demonstrates Zebra’s end-to-end offering to customers.
